Social entrepreneurs are committed to making a positive social and environmental impact, with the secondary objective of making financial returns. They play an important role in driving change and, under our definition, contribute towards at least one of the SDGs. It is vital to have impact as their primary focus.

The maximum amount which can be raised for a social entrepreneur is € 250,000.

The We Share Forward community is comprised of seasoned social entrepreneurs, who have built successful companies from the ground up, funders, and knowledge partners. Community members are encouraged to share their field-specific experience and knowledge, and additionally provide social entrepreneurs with access to their networks. You get the chance to join this exceptional community and in turn, 'share it forward' with the next generation, contributing to their success.

The amounts made available to Social Entrepreneurs are donations: there is no strict repayment obligation. However, We Share Forward counts on the Social Entrepreneurs who receive funding to voluntarily share forward with the next Changemakers by contributing for example one off donations, 1-2% of their shares, or donating part of their revenue. Social Entrepreneurs can also contribute through mentoring, network and knowledge sharing.
