About Us
WE SHARE FORWARD FOUNDATION
We are a not-for-profit foundation that funds and supports Social Entrepreneurs and Student Changemakers who are working to accelerate the sustainable development goals, improving the lives of people and disadvantaged communities, and restoring the environment. We provide this support via grants and non-financial contributions from our community of engaged funders, who utilize our unique philanthropic revolving funding model as a vehicle to put their impact aspirations into action. This allows our engaged funders, Social Entrepreneurs, and Students to ‘share it forward’ with future generations of changemakers. We cultivate robust partnerships, alliances, and programs with trusted consortia to co-fund projects addressing the UN SDG areas of education, health, sustainable food systems, and regenerative agriculture.
Mission
We champion and fund Social Entrepreneurs and Student Changemakers who aim to accelerate the SDGs to create positive social impact, helping disadvantaged communities, and environmental impact.
Vision
To help attain the UN SDGs by enabling changemakers to thrive in an innovative community, fostered through our philanthropic revolving funding model and by working in unity with the impact ecosystem to break silos and advance change.
How We Lead: Our Values
Legal Entities
We Share Forward Foundation Netherlands
Our first legal entity, located in the international impact city of The Hague, is where we initiated our revolving funding model. This entity is focused on sectors of education, health, sustainable food systems, and regenerative agriculture. In the Netherlands, we hold ANBI status and our donors benefit from full or partial tax deductions.
We Share Forward Foundation Switzerland
Our second legal entity, the same foundation with the same values, is located in Zurich, a flourishing innovation capital. With this entity, we are open to exploring new impact finance tools and a range of projects in the sustainable impact sector. In Switzerland, we will soon also hold the legal status of a foundation, allowing for full or partial tax deductions.
